Jim,
How quickly you forget.
The "Dems," including me, supported the invasion of Afghanistan in October, 2001, because it was the right thing to do. Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11, he was there, and it's where he trained his ghouls. The operation was just and justified.
But Iraq? That's like charging to you next door neighbor's house and slap the snot out of his kid because some other neighbor threw a rock through your front window.
Simple facts: 1) the Iraqi invasion was bogus, unjustified, and history proves it.
2) Afghanistan is where the people who attacked us lived in 2001, and still do.What aren't "Dems" are not protesting sending more troops to Afghanistan? Because it's the war we should have been fighting when we were staging a deadly Three Stooges act in the Fertile Crescent. The real question is "Why weren't you protesting the diversion that was Operation Iraqi Freedom when the REAL goons who attacked us on 9/11 were being allowed to party hardy in Afghanistan and western Pakistan?"
